Carnival 2006 feature film Footage from the 2006 Planet Sound Carnival from the City Centre (Hanley). We wrote a tune that was based around the community, and worked with Bosco De Olivera to produce a samba that was fresh, modern and in English but also linked to the heritage and roots of Samba. We made the programme available to as many people as possible in the community to rehearse and learn the song, the artform, choreograph dance and generally come together for a higher purpose. The parade took place in July in the City Centre of Hanley, and was attended by Bosco and Romero who added their energy to the programme. 2007 preperations are already underway and we can't wait to do this all again!
