NEWS ARCHIVE "RESPECT COMMUNITIES" CD released - Feb 2003 Feb 2003 saw the release of the Planet Sound Community Arts youth Music CD, "Respect Communities". Recorded in 2002 the CD features tracks from Stanfields, Biddulph and Brown Edge, Arch, Cross Heath as well as a track from the hugely successful Planet Sound Youth Training programme of 2002. The CD also includes selected feedback from participants and their thoughts about the projects. Tracks were recorded during the project work, using ideas generated within the sessions. During the Autumn of 2002, the tracks were edited and produced, with duplication of the CD starting in Dec 2002. The CD aimed to record the participants at their best, and to illustrate how they would sound on a recording. The CD also aimed to show people to see the results that can be achieved in community music work. At present the CD is being distributed to the participants and venues that took part in the project.
