Conducted in house at the Mitchell Memorial Youth Theatre, participants are made up of anyone in the community wishing to learn about drumming and contribute to group performances.

CHINA (CHange IN Attitudes) Theatre Company is a not-for-profit project of Planet Sound Community Arts. China has successfully piloted its first piece, and in its second phase aims to continue working to the same high standards.
China Theatre Company is for people with a learning difficulty who wish to develop skills in the arts.

Planet Sound Community Arts have conducted a summer programme of events since 2000, with the Newcastle Carnival being the big event of the summer most years.
As we progress, further work has gone into the planning, development and improvment of each festival programme.

ACCESS ALL AREAS

The Access All Areas project was established by Planet Sound Community Arts in the summer of 2003.
A team is assembled to deliver a wide range of artforms, and is taken into several different youth settings to encourage creativity and to produce various outputs. In the 2003 phase, an audio CD was produced. In the 2004 phase, the groups each made their own music video.
The material is then showcased at a venue in the North Staffs area.
