Hosted by the BME Forum of Stoke On Trent, the evening brought together groups from all across the City to present their own culture within the City from food to music and dance, and to experience culture from other groups. Kasanti opened the show with two West African pieces, and were then joined by Drumschool for a grand performance of Nyabingi with both groups playing together. The group was joined by West African master drummer Jahman Sillah for the evening. The performance went down really well with the audience and other groups in the venue, and drums were kept offstage so members of other groups could have a go for themselves if they wanted! This proved very popular with many impromtu "drum jams" during the food breaks! Planet Sound would like to thank the BME forum of Stoke On Trent for inviting us to a fantastic event!
